Hello friends, hope to see you this Sunday at Rumours East for a lovely holiday shopping event! We'll be there from 2-6pm, so come enjoy wine, chocolates and local shopping!

Falling in Love with Fall

The chill is in the air, the boots are moving to the front of the closet, and the HVAC bill is slowly decreasing ... Fall is almost here! We've been quiet all year at PrairieGR headquarters, but that doesn't mean we haven't been hard at work!

This fall is ALL about accessories: With PrairieGR, expect lots of trustworthy neutrals -- the perfect shades of grey, taupe, good ol' black and white -- with a twist (antique lace and buttons, maybe a kilt pin thrown in for good measure). We're not ignoring color for those of you who love it, whether you want it bright (kelly green, cherry red, antique gold, and vibrant, multicolored recycled silk) or subtle (sea and sky aqua, buttery yellow, olive green, shimmering gold and muted maroon).

The final touches are happening now ... you'll see us soon in Ivey, Local Honey, Oldmadegood, Nashville Clothing Co. and more!

Happy new year, lovelies! Things will probably be a little quiet in Prairieland for a while as we'll be taking time to regroup, clean up the yarn stash, try new designs, and take a class or two (both Sewing 101 and Knitting 101 were a total bust, but I'm willing to try again!). 2010 was our biggest year yet, and we have you to thank! We did more events than ever, including our first appearance in Chicago (we'll be back, Midwesterners!). We got some great press from our favorite local shopping blog Stella Shops and we were featured in the fabulous Nashville Lifestyles magazine in November.

Our events are as wrapped as the gifts under the pony xmas tree, but you can still get your P*G*R fix at our fabulous Nashville-area stores, which will carry our glovelettes, armwarmers, scarves and hats throughout the winter:

P*G*R at Rumours 12South

We'll be at Rumours 12South in Nashville tomorrow, December 4th, from 2-6pm for a fun little holiday shopping event. I'll be among the local designers and artists selling unique gifts, and there will be fun drinks and food and people all around! Come say hello and drink some bubbly.

Prairie*Go*Round in Chicago This Weekend!

We are traveling to our other home, Chicago, for the Randolph Street Market/Modern Vintage Holiday Market. This event will be held Sat/Sun, Nov. 20-21, 10-5 each day at the Beaux Arts Plumbers Hall. There are going to be a TON of vintage, antique, and indie designer vendors here and we are *so* excited to be a part of this. Come say hello and get your holiday shopping done, or just buy something for yourself :)

Shopping + Wine + Chocolate = FABULOUS

Nashvillians, join us at Rumours East this Sunday from 2-6pm for a fun shopping/wine-tasting/chocolate-consuming event. There will be a bunch of fabulous local designers here, including my favorites like Valentine, Valentine and Fringe Lore. Admission is free but it is $25 pp to participate in the wine tasting (which is totally worth it, loves!). Get your holiday shopping done EARLY and support handmade and local!! OR just enjoy wine and chocolate...we're just happy to see you.
